"A Modest Support"

Back in the early-mid 1970s in Washington, D.c. we joined the protest about the death of a farm worker Cruz, in fields I think in Delano.  We jooined a picket in front of a wine dealer to support the boycott of the use of grapes for this wine.  We at Tabor House Community hosted two UFW organizers in D.C   Tried to give support to the UFW guitarist, Lalo and family in Silver Spring, MD. We joined a rally there with Cesar Chavez and JFK’s brother-in-law (forget hsi name).
Since then and expecially in the 90s till today have responded to calls for solidarity from the UFW.
