A Movement to Always Remember

While I was attending El Camino College in Torrance, CA in 1969 and 1970, I was a Boycott Organizer for the UFW.  We organized Grape Boycotts and targeted small to medium size markets.  We were all students and were very passionate about the Farmworker’s Movement.  We got market owners to remove their grapes about three different times!  I had the opportunity to meet Cesar Chavez and I was very struck with his determination, fierceness, courage, strategic skills and his humility.  The Movement will forever be a part of me.
