"Boycott support"

In 1975 I attended a showing of Fighting For Our Lives that cesar appearred at in Providence RI. I met George Nee and others and began volunteering in the RI and then Boston Offices of the Boycott. In 1977, Fred Ross came to Boston to train Boycott staff from all over the country. Volunteers came to Boston for this training. I had the pleasure of cooking for the staff and driving Fred to his appearrances at Colleges in New England area. I continued to volunteer in Boston and in 1978 I joined the Winter Program in California. I was stationed in Santa Barbara at the University with Kathy Medina and we hosted Bobby De La Cruz at a fundraising event. The time I spent with La Causa was some of the happiest of my life. It was fullfilling and meaningful and has shaped the course of my life ever since. I continue to support the struggle of farmworkers and will always be there in any way I can to continue teh fight for justice!
