I was a young child when I heard about Ceasar Chavez and even a young as I was, I knew he stood up for the Mexican workers. My brothers were involves in walks done by “La Raza” and the Chicano movement. I dealt with discrimination in my life and I felt that I was suppressed educationally, emotionally and financially because of it, but I rose above all that prejudice and succeeded in my life and my children have risen above the stigma. i honor Ceasar Chavez with all my heart because his heart was totally in his cause. I want to thank him for his great work and I know God has a wonderful place for him in Heaven. I love my people.
